Occupational Safety and Health Policy of MG Laboratory

 MG Laboratory is committed to the safety and health of all people who enter the workplace, including employees, visitors, and those who may be affected by the company's operations. We strive to attain a “Zero Accident” workplace by implementing safety and health standards. We practice self-compliance to ensure that we remain in conformity with all applicable legal obligations. The ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System is used to create a framework for managing occupational health and safety risks and opportunities with the goal of preventing work-related injury and illness, providing safe and healthy workplaces and activities, and continuously improving OS&H performance.

The following quality and safety policies must be accepted and implemented throughout the project division, and they must apply to all activities and levels of workers. MG Laboratory aspires to be a well-known and respected medical laboratory in the industry and among its clients by pursuing the following goals:

Worker participation is critical to developing a proactive safety culture. Everyone in the company has a role to play in fostering a "Safety First" culture. In addition, we are constantly aware that establishing regulations, giving training, and enforcing them can assist workers in becoming more aware of safety and health standards. The Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach is utilized to enable continuous improvement and achieve the intended goals.

Documentation, implementation, and maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety Policy are all done. It will be circulated throughout the organization and made available to anyone who is interested. The policy will be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that it is still current and appropriate for the company.




  • As for all accident happened in laboratory, whether it is small or big or near miss accident, all must be reported to the Laboratory Manager by the laboratory staffs.
  • The accident regarding radiation safety, clinical safety must be reported to the Chief Clinical Staff. The calculation of each staffs’ personal dosimetry must be reported to Chief Clinical Staff for archive purposes.
  • All of MG Laboratory’s staffs must be on high alert during work because accident can happen at anytime and any moment. MG Laboratory’s staffs are all trained to be working professionally and can handle any accident and issues smoothly. 
RULES FOR MG LABORATORY'S STAFFS
  • All of patients' medical record are confidential. Information, written and/or verbal, may be released only in accordance with PDPA Guidelines, applicable law, and the laboratory’s Policies and Procedures.
  • All staff should wear name tag or ID badge and personal dosimeter at all time during work.
  • All staff should wear uniform and closed in shoes. 
  • All staff should request leave at least 24 hours upon leaves. And emergency leave should be reported to Administration Manager.
